Hi there! We're Refresh, Inc.

Our mission is simple, yet powerful: we aim to facilitate accessible, engaging events which spark curiosity, foster meaningful connections, and celebrate the confluence of education, music, and the arts.

We were founded in 2017 to host an independent TEDx series in Huntsville, Alabama. We took a brief hiatus during COVID-19, but now we’re back with renewed energy to serve our beloved Five-Points community!

Initiatives: Past, Present, Future

TEDxVoyagerWay:

• We hit the ground running by hosting 4 TEDxVoyagerWay events – Aleatoric, Red Circle Review, Talking Blockchain, and Radical Rethink – giving local thought leaders and creative talent a global spotlight.
  

COVID-19 Reset:

• Though we paused during the pandemic, we used the downtime to reimagine how best to serve our community in fresh, innovative ways.
  
  

Five Points Fourth Friday Social:

• Currently, we provide coordination support for the 4^th Friday Social, a monthly neighborhood gathering. We serve as liaison between hosts and guests, design custom invitations, and manage an email distribution of 200+ Five Points residents
  
  

Porchfest 2025:

• We are thrilled to introduce Porchfest’s first ever Electronic Music “unporched” stage at Lewter Family Park.
• We are also providing logistical, fundraising, and partnership support for the first ever family-friendly “Porchfest Pre-Party” which will include a Chalk Zone for kids, 2 on-site food trucks, a yoga class sponsored by Light-On Yoga, and free face painting.
  
  

Future Vision:

• We strive to curate unique, family friendly events like movie nights, block parties, progressive dinners and more, at low or no-cost so everyone can participate and benefit!
